Jay queried me about the booby vs kili cup game, as the Swap wasn't reversed then the fixtures would be like this.

booby_trap v kilimanjaro
w_hoolahan v bigbaz199

is now

w_hoolahan v kilimanjaro
booby_trap v bigbaz199

However if Dead Meat decide to reverse the Swap then i can let the score stand, If not it has to be replayed as the matches changed.

Dead Meat doesn't want the game to stand so the result is void and the above games must be played as the swap was never reversed from either team.

Just a note guys, If you play a game outside the current matches then a sub or swap must be posted including reversals of a sub or swap in the 'Clan League - Sub Changes" Thread. While i don't update Subs or Swaps as i have no fixtures to edit, It is still important to make them official.

Not doing so the option lies with the opposing captain if subs or swaps stand and if they refuse then i have to void the score and original fixtures stand so please remember to make subs or swaps official with remembering both captains must agree to a Cup Swap to avoid Match Fixing in case of further disputes.

That is a total joke...

with the lack of players and a clan league barely surviving only common sense should prevail and the important thing is the game got played before the deadline.

Both players were willing to play and the game was played in good faith and spirit.

I have been on everyday and nothing was occurring so with a bit of cajoling we got the game swapped to w_hoolahan who then did not even have the decency to reply despite being on 2 or 3 times after I sent 2 messages.
So the original match was played as booby trap at least made an effort to come and play it.

Now they are saying the result should not stand....hmmm if it were the other way round I am sure they may have a different view.

With so few players on as I said the most important thing is that it gets played...all we need to do is pop a note on the thread saying fixture reversed.

If Deadmeat do not agree then they are being idiotic , devisive and frankly pathetic.............. or they let it go ahead in the spirit of a friendly league that we are all trying to keep going then they are jolly good fellows.

If the result is negative then I am afraid you lose another player as you can shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

I have been part of clans for 6 years as a fun thing on and off and I think had maybe one default..not my fault as it goes....and been a very reliable player.

why my choice? i'm only following league rules, If Jay never spoke up then i would have no reason to void it in the first place.

If the Swap was reversed by either team then i would have let the result stand and while opposition may not be happy, it would be done by league rules as was done officially and by the book.

Because the Swap wasn't reversed, The official games meant the game never even existed and if you look at that logic, i had no choice but to void the result.

As a Captain i would have let result stand but as a Runner, soon as opposition spoke up, i had to look into it.

I hate fighting with friends, had it once already this set and i'm ill so i'd rather not argue but i have to post.

Hopefully Clans have learned a valuable lesson from this.

no idea mate, wasn't refused until the game was played as no one posted so assumed HH was fine with it.

I'll message Horse on Pool and ask for a second opinion. If he thinks i should keep the result then i will do as grounds for HH to reverse DMs Cup Swap on the other hand, DM had grounds to void result as swap was never reversed from either team.

As a player i think the result should stand personally but going to get a 2nd opinion.

Until this time, the Default info Period, Thursday Morning will be the new Cup/Plate deadline so i have time to sort out this mess.

tbh i dont really care.

it was my own fault not to come on and act as a captain last 2 weeks as i had other concerns as funky this time. so i just mostly logged in and checked my messages about my games.

sorry for that team but this also means i wasnt even aware of the swap as i did not even check the thread.

I was about to mention the above as well mate with you not even being on the forums but can see you said that.

Would like to point out it was Kili who wanted the swap in the first place and asked me for it so i gave him it.

I have spoken with Keith about this situation and how i'm struggling to handle it so i asked him to help me choose the final verdict if the result stands or not.

The final verdict is the Result will remain voided and this won't be re changed and it is final.

Sorry to both teams but i sought out help from an experienced runner on Pool for his advice as sensed i would be hit hard no matter the final verdict so i had to forget about every emotion up to this point and have a clear mind.

For next season, A member of BOTH teams may have to post and agree to Cup Swaps otherwise it won't stand.

Also All Subs/Swaps (Including Reversals before or during a match), Must be posted on Sub Changes to make them official.

Hate to do that but prevents this happening again.

Result remains Voided and Cup Deadline will be Thursday Morning when i log in.
