Ok. i'll elaborate:-
This flawed genius had many traits that probably didn’t fit a high performing athlete. Robin drank shed loads, he smoked like an industrial chimney, he dropped acid the night before matches and had more fights than Mike Tyson. He once got red-carded for kicking Mark Lawrenson in the face. The day of his arrival as Cardiff City’s new signing he was arrested at Cardiff Central Station for dodging the fair from Reading. The day before his first game for Cardiff, he was in the pub all night before ordering 12 bottles of lager to take back home with him. He then played Bobby Moore off the pitch and scored 2 goals. After just 25 matches he walked away from football.
He was the epitome of a “flawed genius,” graced with incredible talent but having a wild and unpredictable temperament that could see him kissing a policeman one match and being sent-off and taking a dump in the opposition’s bath the next!
Who wouldn't idolise him!!!
