I will give a grand ($1000) to the first player to get a 147 break. Why? cause I'm so confident no-one will get it, oh and I'm also rich.
Discuss the 147 here, who do you think will be the first to get it?
Personally, if someone was to get it, I think it won't be someone from here.. it'll be someone from another site/game who's been playing for 10+ years and dedicates his life to the game.

no he means as a break so a 148 is impossible.

no..... the highest break in the world if i aint mistaken is 154... the player who broke off fouled the black and then the other guy broke a 147... wierd ano.. but im sure its true

sorry 151 is the highest break... but a 155 is possible...

the highest break u can get is a 155, because u can be snookered on all 15 reds, then u would have a free ball, which could technically count as a 16th red black

obviously u dont play snooker otherwise u wuld know all about a free ball, and the fact that u culd get one with all 15 reds on table

true but then it wouldnt b a break ov 147 it will b individual scores all addin up 2 a score ov over 147 not a total break ov 147 + :-P

i can, you just play a mate, and get yourself set up...

Even if you did that it would still be REALLY difficult. Having a mate set you up is all well and good, but you'd still have to pot all the balls without missing one, and its impossible to be "easily" set up for a 147 break IMO.

It would be harder for someone to set you up for a 147 cause you need the reds together then split em at certain times, if not it interupts the black and gets messy.

well if someone kept fouling as a game did a while ago the highest score is 201
