how about when u click on a room (when ur just about to join) to not only show u the owner but the rank of the owner? saves having to look them up and im always skipping in and out of rooms to find som1 to play round my rank. wat use think?

Yea good idea for players playing for rank, but there are a lot of players like me...they play for fun and don't care about the rank.

But yes a good idea nonetheless.

YES, i posted this on pool forum but it just was looked away. Im sick of joining rooms and see low ranks (no affence) that i don't wanna play.

Well there is a fundimental reason for this not being done, as is the case on pool.

No point in re-writing the oldest subject on either site, it can all be summed up with the conclusion that is always reached : Everyone should play Everyone..

However, as anyone regular on the pool forums will know, i invested a lot of time last summer proving that all you have to do is name your room accordingly and you can effectively choose your opponents.

how about having rank barriers when you open your room you can decide betwen this rank and this rank can only enter your game. And as for everyone playing everyone that is ridiculous we all know that doesnt happen!

Anyways, apart from the fact that over 99% of people DO pay attention to "OVER 800" or whatever, the other option i have suggested on pool and which applies just as much here is that people's ranks should be hidden untill AFTER the game, that way you would eliminate the issue altogether.

the point im making is simple lol. im looking for som1 to play (not making a room lol) and i want som1 my rank for fair points. I have to enter and re - enter until i find som1 and have no time to search there name as it will be gone by the time i do. simply putting there rank in room otions wud be nice to have. not many ppl do actualy put 800 up or watever in there room name

I dissagree. Although simply naming your game is as effective.

I like the idea of the owners rank being displayed or even just the ranking level such as Newbie or Proffesional for example. This just prevents users going in and out of games constantly. I can't really see how much effect it will take on certain ranked users if this was added.

Choosing a rank range in which to play is a nice little idea but is a little OTT at this stage.
