When playing snnoker if your in a really hard snooker and there is no way you can get the ball is there anything wrong with just potting the white?!?

well i did it earlier ang got called a cheat for it!! there was no way out of it so i thought save me some points i will pot the white and plus i have had this done to me before!!!!!!!

Really good stratagy lol.. but if it was in US pool you would have lst the game just a good job its snooker ey nice tactic m8 ill have to use that sometime.

it isnt a good idea coz then ur giving them a free easy shot from replacing the white, u shud just hit the ball wereva on the table were the ball ur aiming for is hittable but not pottable, therefore ur only giving away 4 points

i only ended up losing coz i fecked up the next shot, and if it happened to any of you after u think u just played a good snooker, u wont be this happy

Well if you play a good snooker, the opponent will more than likely foul anyway giving away 4 points. so what's the difference if they pot the ball, they still give you points.
And, if they pot the white as a way out...and the next ball is difficult to get to...force a continue.
Nothing to complain about if someone pots the white on purpose.
