I always thougth, being a keen snooker fan and all. that the colours should be replaced closest to the spot they could be, not below it.

And also, when colours are replaced and the white ball is close the spot where the colour should be, it seems that they are touching. Makes it a bit akward to play, especially when the colour should be replaced on an available spot.

I'm not sure about the official rule on this, i think if all spots are vacated by other balls, i would imagine that the ball being respotted should stay off table till there is an availible spot.

Rule in real snooker is that if the particular colours spot is taken then the highest spot available is used. If all spots are taken the colour is positioned as near to its spot as possible, towards the cushion behind the black but in a straight line. Thats why you see the refs messing to make sure it is in line with other spots.

lol good points all but what i think your all forgetting... this is funkysnooker not real snooker so the rules are gonna be a bit wackey but thats what makes this game good
