I've noticed that the cursor on arcade snooker is roughly the same size as the balls, but on original snooker i feel that the cursor is too big for the balls meaning reduced accuracy, should we have a smaller cursor? (maybe a tick option)

i think this is good though. makes it trickier, therefore making it more challenging for the more competant players

I think maybe there should be an option of 'Big Cursor' or 'Small Cursor'. Because I started playing on Arcade Snooker by the time I tried Snooker I couldn't get into it because it is a bigger cursor compared to the balls. That's the main reason that I've played so few games of that, because the cursor was too big I felt and I could never get into it due to that.

it is the same size as the balls in original snooker, but on some colours you can never get the cursor int he exact position you want to sometimes

since i got my new laptop i rarely play original as the balls seem to have gotten smaller and the white spin thingy on the right isn't even round. I don't understand why

Do you mean the regular cross-hair cursor or the custom cursor?

Probably one of those silly widescreen setups where the screen is stretched as opposed to using a proper widescreen resolution.

Had loads of hassle with them at work...

Have a look at your display settings (right-click desktop, properties, settings tab)

If you have something like 1280 by 1024 or 1024 by 768, then its the reason.

If you can, you should be using a seting like 1440 by 900 or 1920 by 1200 to maintian proper image shape.

(dont mean to insult your intelligence dude, but simple is always best)

Try refreshing your installation (clear out downloaded program files).

I had to do that to see the new sized tables etc in the last pool upgrade.

There is also the possibility you may be using Firefox?
