He is from new zealand, that might explain it. Don't know what their education system is like over there.

well .. with the solution to most problems, money.I know the standard argument to that is they would have to put taxes up, but I think the money they do have is being allocated wrong.

precisely, what's the use of a two grand flash whiteboard when you have a dummy that has no teaching skills and no ability to control the class standing next to it? better to have an adeptly trained teacher than a white board that is disfunctionally used anyway? ( they only use it to write on, why bother when like you say, they can just write on a normal board. They don't take advantages of the facilities they offer)

Also, my previous school was a dump! there in the centre was this pristine, expensive whiteboard surrounded by desks with legs falling off, walls covered in chewing gum, big holes in the carpets. what's the point?

you're very informed angel lol. Are you a student? What paper do you read?

Also my school has done well for me, although it is turning into a craphole
now I'm about to leave sixth form and theyre wasting money on interactive whiteboards and business and enterprise schemes when surely it would be better to train the crap teachers. Unfortunately there is too many of them.

was splashed all over the media a while back.To be fair her kid is disabled, but that just shows us that the facilites for disabled children arn't as good as they can and should be.

they just need to spend money carefully which will help them lower taxes too if they stop wasting money - theyve put bloody park benches + tables in my school surely costing £1000s. What is the point? They never get used

yeah, and there's the government promoting... well allowing.. these supercasinos being built because they're a source of entertainment. I wouldn't find losing all my money entertaining...
