I don't know if this is a good idea but you shouldn't be able to but backspin on the ball if its on the cushion beacause in the real game this isn't possible.

This has been discussed before, and was in the "coming soon's" for the pool site so i would imagine it will be introduced here as soon as its implimented.

id like to see this added. it wont matter for those who don't bother with position much, but for those trying for century's it will add a bit more difficulty, which is always a good thing. so what if its "funky"? arcade is too easy

Play orignal snooker then, i think that the arcade snooker is brilliant it dont need nothing added!

i do play normal, but thanks for the suggestion. however, it's not a matter of play one or the other, i just think it would be more fun and more challenging to not have backspin when on the cushion.

and why has no one ever had a 147? only 4 people have over 100 on normal snooker. that tells you the huge margin of difficulty between the two games. just the fact that 7 people can get a maximum (ive had one in practice) and dozens more get centuries and 80/90+ shows arcades not that difficult for a lot of people, so adding no backspin when on a cushion isn't going to matter THAT much, but will be a little added challenge for those who are already really good.

but the max is 40 points lower

arcade is fairly easy but thats why people play it! Its fun. If you want a challenge play original
