the person i was playing had lost the game but continued to play and waited as long as he could on every shot, his timer was 90 seconds and it took me about 5 minutes longer than it should to beat him. when he randomed, as most random shots do, it didnt leave me on an easy shot and i missed it once. and i hadnt checked before i entered.
why is the time limited max 90 seconds, thats ridiculous. it should be a maximum of 40 seconds that you can choose...

Why would you need it more then 30 seconds?

it is a bit crazy but...
the moral of the story dont play games with above 40's or whatever you think is not right!

You cant tell me you look at the timer ever time you enter a room.

exactly, i think the maximum on original should be 60 seconds and arcade snooker 40 seconds, as most normal people do not check the time limit every game.
I get that in original snooker a lot, but its worse when its a 10 second game believe me.

best thing is to always check the timer before entering, i myself prefer to have a long timed game as i have kids - they can be a tad distracting, but as most will know, i'm always polite enough to take my shots as early as possible.

I prefer quick games, however i fully understand why some others prefer longer times.
For example, some people like to play 180 sec games so its effectively tuen based, so they can work or whatever between shots.
I cant believe anyone would enter a game without checking the limit first!
