i think that would be to much i think 1 tournament say arcade snooker 12 then snooker speed tournanment 6 am then arcade snooker speed tournament 12 (miday) then snooker tournament at 6 pm

but don't u think thats a bit unfair because a few mins ago only 4 people were online that mean automatic semis can be a good thing for me though

and it would also get more people on the site at this time so they have a good chance at winning the tournament

The more tournaments there are, the more it devalues winning.

I for one wouldnt feel i've achieved anything special by winning a tournament which only had 4 players that started, as is the same for most users on the site.

I think now Nick has but more tounys down its better, we dont want it like pool there to much over there, keep it at it is!

the tourny schedule is fyn on ea. funky pool has 5x more members dan dere is on ea so 4 tourny's a day is fyn by me

Not being selfish here (I know there are more people that only play arcade), but still being at school, the midnight tournament I couldn't enter for obvious reasons, and the mid-day tournament I'll be at school. Which I'm sure will apply to a lot of people on the website.

Also I feel now that now Nick has updated the tournament schedule that's just about as good as it could get. Starting them at 4pm means that people can play in more, as there will be more people having an available computer as many people will be getting in from work and school around that time.

Firstly there are 2 factors you have to consider when comparing the frequency of funkypool.com tournaments and those here. There is quite a large difference in the amount of active members between the sites, therefore, possibly more of a global widespread community. As this is the case, more tournaments are needed for different time zones.

The second factor is funkypool has 5 different types of pool. Some users may only prefer 1 type, hence finding it more difficult to find an appropriate time slot.

As for time zones here, funkysnooker consists of 75% UK members which is very large (may even be the same on pool) which is why the time slots reflect that of the UK time zone more than the rest.

4 tournaments within a range of 12 hours is fine as it is. Possibly more could be added when the site gets more popular. IMO, changing the times could be an option but adding more tournaments would be pushing the boat a little too far at this stage.

Like you said about being more membars over on pool thats 100% true it is probably double the amount over here. There is some people over on he that would want it to be 1 tournement every hour, you have to remember the games take alot longer here then on pool aswell. More than likely there is probabley about 5 to 15 people on between 3am - 7am would there be any point in having tournements then?
