Im sure there's another thread on this somewhere but i can't find it (might have been on funkypool).

I very much like the idea of a users highest ever rank being displayed on their profile.

Example:

Highest rank reached: 924.5

This can then be reset along with other stats if a user wishes to.

It's a good way of displaying a players capability. I have recently noticed a few users reaching the dizzy hights and i think it's only fair that this acheivement can be recognised and not forgotten.

Shouldn't be too hard to add.

This has not long been posted on FP like you said. And i think it would be a great idea.

Yep, but im talking about highest rank that has been reached by this user, not the position or the winning streak.

So if someone had reached 1000, then it could be displayed so that people know that this user once reached this rank which is sort of described in the second link you gave.

Oops, sorry, the 2nd link I posted should be the 1st. So the 2nd link is the one the same as this thread. I think it is anyway, unless I've read something wrong.

ye great idea, i used to play yahoo pool and was in some leagues and in the standings it was displayed.

good idea luke, it show's a player's true quality when they are/was at there best.

i also think that maybe having another addition which is >

maximum break achieved - 3 times

just shows how many times you have got a 107 or 147 ( if it ever get's reached ), because i really don't think playe's like boz_lad will be able to keep count.

Good idea. Once you have your first max break, the rest are displayed like any other century. Also, sooner or later, the 'highest break' leader board will be full of 107's. With this feature, the player with the most 107's will be top of the board.

I was going for a 107 earlier. However, i missed at the blue and got an 89 instead. Problem is i wasn't even bothered as i would be if i missed it when going for it the first time.

and me too :P but highest rank achieved would be an excellent addition...also it gives that user the will to make a target for themselves

i think that the highest ever rank proposition is excellent. it would also help opposing players look at wot there up against.

Very good idea Farren. About time players got recognition for their efforts of these dizzy heights. By the time you've got a great rank, edge modification takes place and your right back down there with nothing to prove your success!
