i just played steve_davis1 right..... it ended up 7-4 to me but... at the end of it all we were both down on points so how does that work? p.s were both 900+ too, i think the points system should be slightly changed

Where u a higher rank than him, so u lose more when u lose (like u lost 4 games) And steve_davis1 lost 3 more games therefore losing points more points than he gained, and the same with u.

The key is the edge modification. Without the edge modification, at the end of each frame, points are just "moved" from a player to another. So, the loser loses exactly the same amount of points than the winner wins.

But with the edge modification, when you win points, you win less points. However, the edge modification doesn't apply for the loser. Therefore, since both players were 900+, at the end of each frame, the winner won less points than the loser lost. So, indeed there was a "points loss" in the end.
