When you want to quit a game, or need to quit a game for a valid reason eg.you received an invite for a tournament game,would it be possible to add the facility for your opponent to allow you to quit without losing ranking points.Ive played numerous games where ive had an invite to play a tournament game and had to quit and accept the invite because its only valid for a few miniutes, and obviously at the expense of valuable ranking points.

No I disagree. Don't play ranked games if you aren't able to complete them. Thats what friendlys are for. It's unfair to your opponent, who is then expected to end the game half way.

Yep, agree with you there Magicblack if there is a tournament game coming up, it's simple, don't start a game.

Also what would happen to the other person? Would they gain ranking points as they would have should they have won? It's pretty unfar in them if they don't want to end the game and in some cases I'm sure they would get verbally abused if they didn't end it.

I agree with these two guys don't join if you can't play and most people don't. I know I don't because I never have time to waste in a tournament. But maybe you'll just have to lose a few points, it's not the end of the world.

Having a concede early option so it wouldn't count against your abandoned games would be nice (hardly an essential update however), but if you leave early for any reason you should certainly forfiet the points.

The Bottom line is....they are JUST points Its not as if you are losing money is it?
