me2 its lame when it happens. on pool a similar thread came up with the option of if you own the room you can have the option of booting someone out if they wont leave. that sounds the best solution to me.

if you have a problem with this in the future, find a mod and request that "he/she" comes to your table, this in my experiance resolves the problem

yeah and if there is no moderator on, just go back to members for a bit and create a new game after the person is hopping around games

i dont think a mod would say that, if you have created a room and someone enters but does not play or refuses to leave, we will make sure that the prob is resolved

In the occasion matty_1981_ is referring to, i did go to the room and spoke to both players. They had played one game and the other user said matty had abused him and he didnt want to leave but wanted to play again. As i was not there to witness the abuse, i asked Matty to go and create another game as the other player hadnt really done anything wrong.

I agree that if you create a game and someone comes into it that you dont want to play, it would be a good idea to have an option to remove but once you have played, that option shouldnt then become available.

How exactly can booting people be abused, if u dont want to play someone boot them, if they return boot them again.

You are not obliged to play everyone who joins your room, perhaps i am missing something with this concept.

this idea i think wont be abused, why would you want to sit in a room and boot everyone who joins?, ok you will have a few players who will do it, but i dont think it will be a big problem.

i think this is the best possibilty to resolve this problem, you get your fair share of abusers, but i think 95% of the users will use it in the correct manner

P.S, if i am talking a load of rubbish, blame the alcohol

Simple answer currently is to leave and make a new room. Not a big hassle by any means.

However, the best solution to this IMO is to have games auto-start 30 seconds after someone enters.

After all, anyone who creates a game obviously wants to play. So does anyone entering a game.

If something is so serious to change their minds 30 seconds is more than enough!

If you go and create a new game then the player that didnt leave your room in the first place just joins your new one? Is it only me that has notices this?

terrible idea mate sorry. what if your not at your compuet because you nipped to toilet etc while you waited for an opponent and you came back and was losing having fouled a few times.
also if i dont want to play somebody then ill just tell them and if they dont leave then i will. its no biggie to go make another room lol.
but seriously i hope that idea NEVER gets brought in.

How about having the option to set a ranking threshold when creating a game, between any numbers you choose!

I can't really see a reason why you wouldn't want to play someone, other than you were 800ish, they were 600ish and it's not really worth the risk of losing 12+ points, for the pontential gain of 2ish points.

If you could set that you wanted to play, for example, someone between 750 and 850, then if they didn't have the required rank they wouldn't be able to enter the room in the first place.
