i dont think there is any need for a reset user because they start back as newbies when there clearly not and i dont see the point in resetting anyway i think we should just get rid of it would stop alot of fake newbies and so forth

The reset feature was introduced not long ago due to demand and to help prevent "fake newbies"!

What people used to do is delete and recreate to reset thier scores - but then you had no way of knowing whether they were a newbie or not.

With the reset option, you can see that they've donw so so you know whether they are a newbie to the site, or just starting again.

Many people like to reset for challenges etc.

As mentioned many times, labelling a user "reset" or "Newbie R" rather than simply newbie would help.
