I hate fake newbies... because you could have a high score then play a newbie thinking there are a newbie but really there using a different account ... then get beat then lose loads of points i hate what do yous lot think???

this is a load of crap and needs deleting i think.... i transferred from the pool site and not blowing my own trumpet but was quite good.... came onto here and knew the basics and was better than a newbie who has never played it... however i was classed as a newbie, not my fault, as i havent played on the site before!

what im saying is i was a newbie but a good one and people thought i had recreated but i hadnt... so basically deal with it, don't play newbies!! rank is also only a number mate, deal with it

however u have fair point in people recrating for the hell of it which i agree is annoying but basically don't play newbies... you've learned you lesson.. as the saying goes, "once bitten, twice shy"

Well I have to say that theses things happen you get good and people re-set there account there is nothing you can do about it matey!

Hey, settle down you lot. I understand the frustration with members who re-set, but unfortunately at the moment there is nothing we can do. Some people choose to not play newbies, and plus, you won't lose an incredible amount of points due to the newbie affect where the loss is lessened basically.

I understand you're unhappy with the situation, but instead of complaining, how about we come up with some constructive ideas on how to fix this...

i agree with drunk_mate its only like being good then reseting your scores so you are good

if your so bothered about 'fake' newbies then simply dont play newbies. how hard can it be???

Yep, as Brighteyes said, you can't lose that many points because of the way that points are done so that you don't win/lose as many when you play Newbies.

Personally I don't like it when you get Newbies that are ranked over 800 (And yes, a couple may be from pool, but a vast majority aren't). However, even if the 'Re-Set' feature was to be taken away, people would just delete their account then make another one, there isn't really a way to get around it.

This goes back to the old debate that has raged for ages, about whether the game should call reset users something other than "newbie".

I don't see that it should be too hard to give them a label such as "reset player" or something.

Or even (if you must) "resettie".

ive played one before and lost 18.00 points it was so annoying i just dont think they can stand having a little bit of muck on their shirts they seriously need to get a life happy gaming everyone

True you wont lose 18 points to a newbie. I pretty much play anybody, coz even if you lose to them, u probabl will only drop 3-4 points.

But its a personal preference, as people mentioned perhaps dont play newbies at all.
