There has been a lot of discussion about players who reset their stats and perhaps give a false impression of their ability to the unsuspecting opponent.

We have talked about perhaps calling them "reset newbie" or something.

I have another (two-part) suggestion:

It would be a nice feature, as suggested before, to show a player's "highest ever rank". This would be quite nice anyway, so that when you have had a bad run, you can feel comforted that even though you are now 798 you have been as high as 865 (say) when you were on good form.

The nice part is that when a player resets, why dont we LEAVE the highest ever rank setting 'un-reset' so that we can all see that this newbie with a rank of 680 was once 923, and thus can draw our own conclusions about his ability and whether or not we want to play him (or her..sorry)?

So:

Nick, how about a 'highest ever rank' display, that does not get reset?

yep i also lik this idea. would help a lot for the lower ranked players slowly building there rank up. great idea ron

Good idea brassraptor. This info could be included when a player enters a game. If people dont want to see this info then maybe a checkbox in options to toggle on or off. Other stuff could include win ratio, how many games played, when joined etc
