I have put this up to see what people would think of having a speed tourny on arcade snooker, on funkysnooker. The time limit for a match would be 10 minutes and 15 seconds for a shot! what does anyone think? GOOD OR BAD?

i like the idea a lot...speeds up the game and is quite fun

They have this on http://www.funkypool.com/viewTournaments.do and it worked well. Speed tournys would be a great addition and make snooker a better site.

i hate it! lolnah only joking this is a good idea gives a chance to those who wouldnt normally win it - ME basicallly also it'll mix things up a bit. Plus those who say they dont have time to play in tournies may now have time. good idea

Good idea but like you say, we can only reduce the time limit. On pool the amount of frames per round is also reduced for speed tournaments although arcade snooker tourns are pretty much at a minimum anyway.

I like the idea of having various typed of tourns throughout the day/week. Speed torns, marathon torns and maybe ranked torns.

Excellent idea. I'm one of those who rarely has the time for a full tourney and always play 10 sec games anyway so it would suit me just fine.
