Hi,
I can already see how hard it is for long term league/events to keep on track. Even though the organisers try their absolute best, its very hard to deal with entrants

1)Being banned
2)Inactivity
3)Not bothering to play any games.

So please post here some ideas with how you would like to see future leagues and events handled. So that we all can enjoy a proper snooker event.

Although complicated I have some ideas I will post soon that should help the process. i.e. where an event could be actually tied to your profile....so that why you log in you will be presented with what games you are due to play and what event this is. However I have to really formalise my idea properly.
Eitherway please post comments/suggestions here.

i say a league should be implented into funkysnooker..as there is already tourny's...
like 10 people enter a league when it opens and have to play a match every day...the winner gets a stat on their profile

also shouldn't this really be in game queries as it is suggestions to improve the game. but it is about snooker events blah blah blah

For example have 5 leagues with 10 or so in and promotion and relegation from the league after you have played each other once.


Also have a cup for everyone in all the leagues (like fa cup) and the winner has stats on his profile.

i.e.

Funky cup wins 0
Funky Elite League titles 4
Funky League div 1 titles 2
Funky League div 2 titles 1
Funky League div 3 titles 1

Absolutely, however I think before we tackle what type of leagues to put in place, we first have to tackle the age old problem with long term events.

1)Participants being banned during the event
2)Inactivity
3)Not bothering to play any games.

If we were to resolve these three issues then we could put some concrete in place (and then talk to Nick about it)

Great idea mate

well simply;
1) let players enter that havent ever been booted or banned
2) let players in that are constantly on
3) people that have played a lot of games

Ok well perhaps maybe only allow members enter events that

1) Are here X months
2) Have player X amount of games

1) only people who have been banned cant enter
2) definately just allow people that are consistantly on)
3)1000 games including loses

league is gr8 idea

gd idea to make a minimum number of games played/time having been a member

have some way of organising games if an opponent
is not online so you can arrange it

don't alloy ppl whit a high percentage of abandonned games

could award auto wins to evry1 in a group if someone is banned, weather or not they have already played them
