Firstly Im a Liverpool supporter.

Carragher is as good if not a better "defender" than Rio, however Rio has better distribution and is more comfortable on the ball.

It depends on the team the player plays in. Some teams Rio would suit better and some teams Carra would suit.

Saying that one is better than the other is like saying custard is better than ice-cream.

i will be creating a new premierleague dream team for all of Funkypool and snooker to join, so maybe then u can put down your players and actually gain points, but i wont do it just yet as transfers are still happening

Yeah, agree with Ro3ert there, you can't compare Cole and Bridge with Carragher, but maybe not the bit about him being better than Bridge (Unless he is really good). Bridge is yet another player who has wasted some of his career at Chelsea, and one of them that has failed to get out of the mess.

Parker managed to get out, but players like Bridge and SWP are still stuck there!

Oh, and I would rate Carragher slightly better than Ferdinand, more reliable in my opinion.
