i really dont see the point in guests...too many of them come on abuse the site etc safe in the knowledge that nothing will happen. they come on gob off log out then come back as a different guest 30 seconds later.i have to say in my experience the vast majority of them seem incapable of finishing a game especially when they are losing and its annoying.if they want to play why dont they sign up like the rest of us have, it takes 30 seconds and its free.

i have to agree guests can be annoying.however i personally think all guests accounts should be blocked and people are made to sign up.(yes i know you can't force people to sign up but it would be alot better for the site for increasing the amount of members) if any mods/admins read this thread there reply would be something along the lines of "well guests have limited ability"

guest's can't sent a pm that's why your thinking about "muted" but the issues here is guests talking in the main chat box which they abuse.

I Thought they cudnt 'Talk' In main chat box either! Oh well..

Simply put them on Ignore Benni_p you dont have to speak to them in you dont want to! I understand you angry that they swearing and throw everything at you. Just put them on Ignore best Idea mate

Perhaps guests could only be allowed a limited amount of games, sort of like a taster.
So that might encourage them to sign up.

Although I have no idea how you would make it work, not being good with computers.

personally i think its only a small percentage that are abusive...i play them a lot and most of them seem alright so im not bothered

Agreed Damee. But since many guests are good people who could do well and benefit the site, so a little encouragement to sign up would be good

How about 10 games maximum of each discipline can be played in guest games on a certain ip address. Afterwards the person may only play on the practice table and won't be able to log in as a guest anymore - they will need to sign up.

nick can do it as if you are a member then you cant play as guest, its a similar part of the program and they should talk to eachother (the parts of the program)

I disagree, coz most of the people on here, including myself would have tried out as a guest before deciding to sign up, no one wants to sign up to game they dont know is good.
