When you are on the practice table, in arcade or original, and you press again and again the "Rack balls" button, the balls' positions will switch between 2 states: the normal initial one and a funny one, like on the following screenshot:

Is this a bug, or a feature?

It's a practice layout, rack balls button alternates between the 2 snooker layouts.

ive noticed that te triangle actually changes and the balls are not always touching each other and i believe this altars the break off shot!

That's also true, but I think it's a good thing after all.

In real life, you also don't have all the time the balls exactly at the same position, it can easily differ by a few millimeters.

Also, this makes it a bigger challenge by requiring more adaptation skills: look how the reds are standing, and break off in function of it.

And if it was always exactly the same, there would be skilled players who can make a perfect break shot every time, and that wouldn't be good.
