Hey, do you think we could have maybe one marathon tourny? They're good on pool, because then one lucky frame won't decide whether you're in or out lol.

oh yeah soz, its a tourny where all the rounds are best of 5, and then final is best of 7

nah no way will people have the patience to stay on for that long! I think best of 3 and then a best of 5 final would maybe be better as otherwise the tourney would last about 4 hours

well, i like the longer games, so maybe each day we can have one of each? one marathon for arcade and one for orignal ( best of 3 and final 5 ), but once every month we could have a best of 5 then best of 7? because i feel it would be better game play, peole would take more risk's because they no if they mess up they aren't deffinately out... would HOPEFULY show the attacking side of the tactical player's

Just imigne a marathon original tourny, you would have missed christmas by the time it was over, imgine you lost in the final you would be heartbroken all that time for nothing, anyway i like the idea of marathon aracde tournys

i still think even in the main tournie there should be a longer final than semi!

13:51 Wed 1 Aug 07 (BST) [Link] The Marathon tournament is first to 3 until the semi final then in the semi final it's first to 4 and the final is first to 5.
I'm not much for it, it takes ages the one on pool takes about 3 hours to finish so on here it would take a lot longer.

i wish 2 state that i feel it is important to increase the length of the quarters, i feel that thr quarters should be given as much importance as the semi, i have heartbreakingly lost again at this stage (yes i do it a lot), if it was longer im sure i wouldve won lol! but overall yes i think marathons are a good idea and quarters needs 2 be increase!
