Hehe, you're an Indy fan Revenge?
I'm now a little mixed on Summerslam.
A few matches will be excellent (Rey/Chavo, ECW Title, Kennedy/Carlito/Umaga), HHH/Booker will be a quality "WWE" match, but the rest are pretty dire.
I just dont know if i can handle watching an event where i actually want Cena to win!

summerslam should see john cena retain the wwe championship with a possible return of rob van dam or shawn michaels. triple h come back to a standing ovation and a victory over "king" booker. batista winning the world heavyweight title against the great khali. rey mysterio beating chavo guerrero. cm punk finally becoming ecw champion and ken kenedy becoming intercontinental champion

Sure am tombo1!
I've been a huge fan since the British Bulldogs first title win (from wrestlemania 2) and subsequent hart foundation feud PPV matches were shown on World of Sport in 1986.
That started me importing tapes, keeping up to date with results on the BBS systems etc.
Wrestling was, and still is, the only reason i have Sky.
Made me feel like digging out some old tapes again now - over 20 years worth!

Yeah, Eric Bischoff, with the unlimited purse of Ted Turner (owner of TNN etc) paid the likes of Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Hogan, Savage etc simply insane amounts of money to sign with WCW.
It was a great time to be a fan. I remember watching Nitro (WCW's monday night show, on live at the same time as RAW) when Scott Hall walked out. That was the beginning of the NWO.
It made the WWF step up their game and cleared the way for Austin/Foley/Rock etc to rise to the top and evetually make so much money that Vince McMahon bought WCW.
That seems to be the reasoning behind some of the established names going to TNA, that they may rise above WWE again. Will never happen without another insane billionaire paying the bills though!
Summerslam was the best WWE PPV in a long long time. Finally feels like somethings clicked.

since Eddie Guerrero died, WWE have banned all performance enhancing drugs and will suspend/fire anyone that use them, and have really stepped things up since Benoit murdered his kid and wife.
Three more names have been added to the suspension list.
Eddie "Umaga" Fatu
David Bautista (Batista)
Shoichi Funaki
Simon Dean also got fired today because of his involvement. (Mike Bucci)
Rey Mysterio is currently #1 contender because Batista has been suspended.

Eugene (Nick Dinsmore) has been released by WWE.
i am GUESSING it is to do with drugs, which is why he was suspended around a year ago.
i have also just found out Randy Orton has NOT been suspended. Apparently, he owned up to this situation a while back and has served his time.
Also as i previously reported, Batista was said to be suspended. That has now been proved un-true, as he has been added to the Unforgiven PPV Main Event with Mysterio and Khali for the title.
And it is now pretty certain that John Morrison is on the list of offenders as CM Punk was recently given the ECW Title at an ECW 'house show'.
watch this space or alternatively, for more news on the suspensions, go to http://wfigs.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=prowrestling
i will be making another post to the CONFIRMED suspended/released superstars as it wont fit in this one.

Eugene - Released
Mike Bucci - Fired (he had a developmental scouting position). Tommy Dreamer, Val Venis or TY Bailey look set to replace him.
Ken Kennedy - Looks to be released as he was pulled from the Raw House Show tonight.
Umaga - Same reason as Kennedy. Looks to be losing the IC strap to Jeff Hardy on Raw tomorrow.
John Morrison - As he has unexpectedly lost the ECW title at a non-televised event, it looks like he will be suspended.
Chavo Guerrero - Lost an I Quit match at the SD house show. The match went a solid 20 minutes and WWE may have had him lose to write him out of storylines for the next month.
Edge/Gregory Helms - Both are injured and arent likely to be back until next year, so wont be missing any TV time. Although it is reported that they will be both docked 30 days worth of pay to consolidate for the TV time they wont miss.
