How about implementing gameplay achievements or gameplay milestones into funkysnooker which can be seen on the players profile.For example,maybe starting off with a list of 10 achievements that a player has to get.These could include:
Win 10 games in a row.
Win 10 tournaments.
Win a game needing snookers.
Get 2 breaks of 50 in a row.
Win 2 games in a row without your opponent getting a point.

These are just a few ideas, and maybe every month or so increasing achievements in difficulty or maybe adding more achievements.
I know it wont make any difference to ranking points but after you have completed an achievement this could be put onto your profile.Good players may already have got some of these but they would not have got recognition, so by trying to achieve them agian it gives them a new challenge and something else to work towards, but this time it can be seen on their profile by other users.

Hmmmm good idea, there is nothing wrong with the tournament one. But the others I don't approve of. Members could get a friend to let them win games and such, nice idea though.

ye i agree with sean_paul to many ways of cheating achievements
