internet closing while in a match

Right i was in a match against some one just now and i was about to win, but then internet explorer closed all my windows and quit my match and i lost 13 points on original snooker. Can anything be done about this?

This is different to your question on the pool forum isnt it? (losing connection).
This sounds much more like a malware problem, or possibly a corrupt Java install.
Make sure your antivirus is up to date and active, and run a windows update (to run the monthly malware removal tool).
If that doesnt help, try reinstalling Java.

this happened to me yesterday i was in the final and was about to win it i was on fire lol but then the page closed. But all the other internet on my computer worked just not funkysnooker!

i thought it was a one-off when i did it on snooker but then it constantly closing after this. thats why its different.
it seems to be okay at the moment so lets see how it goes

ye ive just been playing away nice and happy then all of a sudden all my internet pages closed ive had this a few times and whilst its not the end of the world its bloody annoying

it happened to my mate aswell so i am starting to think that it isnt just my computer...it only happens on funkysnooker and pool

We had reports of all the pages closing when a PM window is closed.
Could this be whats happening?
Clearing out the browser history to force a game applet refresh has worked in all cases reported so far.

i got it when i clicked off a different page to funky and whiped off all the webpages. also some times i click off a webpage it says that windows has encountered a problem and must close down, and do i want to send the problem? i click dont send and every page goes!

Just happened to me.
I opened a new window previously from a link on the game applet, when i closed this window all pages closed without warning.

i get the warining saying inernet explorer needs to close. and asks if i want to send error report or not. i always send it and nothing changes.

It happens to me every now and again damee, i uninstalled java and reinstalled it. It doesn't solve the problem completely but it doesn't happen as much.

well it isnt happening as much now but still it happens. for some reason i clicked this link and it says it identifies the problem. it says its flash player...

You could try using a different browser.

Ah.
It seems like its a flash problem.
Same procedure as java. Uninstall, clear browser histories, reboot, go to
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
And install a clean version.
Flash version 9 does cause lag on some systems though. If you have that problem, there is a link to version 8 in the skickied lag thread.

my internet is dodgey and keeps goinf off, so tht makes me go out of the funkysnooker server and i lose loadz of points when im in a match. can anythin be done about this, cuz its happened loadz of times and im losin interest in building back my points
