Tottenham manager Martin Jol has parted company with the north London club.
Jol tendered his resignation before taking charge for the game against Getafe - a 2-1 defeat in the Uefa Cup.

Spurs, who are third from bottom in the Premier League, have won just one league game after spending heavily during the summer transfer window.

Sevilla coach Juane Ramos has reportedly agreed to become Spurs' new manager at the start of next season.

Spurs reportedly met Ramos in August with a "dizzying" offer to replace the 51-year-old Jol at White Hart Lane.

Sad to see Jol go, I liked him. I'm not sure about this but from what I understand on Football Focus the Spurs fans were chanting in support of Jol once they found out that he was leaving and were annoyed about his treatment?

they had a board meeting before the game and thats when levey said to jol after the game he wouldnt be manager

was also said to keep this info between the board members and jol

a board member leaked info to the press

so the board member is now leaving
