5 things.

1) great show by Ricky Hatton he gave it everything and lesser boxers/men would have fallen earlier or taken a points defeat.

2) The ref was a joke the whole way through, he was to busy, getting involved when he should have let the fight run its course. Also the point taken away contributed to Rickies defeat (made him more desperate to land "the money shot". Finally going into his corner and giving him advice is nothing short of a disgrace.

3) The English fans were amazing all the way through and even when he lost they were still behind him all the way.

4) Mayweather may have a big mouth, be cocky and arrogant, but he (as much as i hate to admit it) outclassed Hatton today and deserved the victory in my eyes.

5) Great to here Ricky will be continueing, hes 29 and has an agreement with his mum that he will retire at 30 so hes theoretically got 1 more year left.

To sum up a bit gutted but im glad i didnt put money on it like you lot and at least his brother won

Ul Ricky hope he can bounce back and Congrats to "the big mouth".

I wouldnt consider any "fans" that boo and jeer another country's national anthem as amazing. I thought it was disgusting, especially as the fight was in the states aswell.

All Hatton had were drunken yobs that were a disgrace to anything English..

I was so disappointed for Hatton last night, he is still champ in my eyes!

I also didn't exactly agree with mayweather's response after the fight... he not only belittled hatton, but also patronised him on a massive scale... which I found childish and very un-sports-man-like!
