What exactly is it that's making some people call for him to be sacked? Is it the whole owner thing? Or has something else gone on? 'Cause he seems to be doing a pretty good job with Liverpool!

I never liked allardyce tbh so I would like o see someone (foreign) to come in to newcastle and shake things up... and drop smith!

And as for rafa ive never been his biggest fan due to him selling owen idol and all that, but if its going to benefit the club i would welcome a new manager. Now thats not me calling for him out but I wouldn't be heartbroken if he was to go.

i dont know tom liverpool fans who want rafa out IMO should be ashamed, hes the right man so stick with him, the sooner the ammericans go the better, they have no interest or knowledge about "soccer" so therfore dont realise how importan the league is for us, we need them to publicly back rafa and realise changing managers gets you nowhere

ok well if you changed a poor manager for a good 1 then maybe it will change for the better but in our case benitez is the best man for the job, you get these so-called liverpool fans (and it will happen with newcastle ones), who sing the managers name when they're winning but as soon as a team is on a difficult patch, BANG its get him out!!

Dont forget rafa gave us the champions league and the fa cup 2 very big trophies!!

Same here, when he first came people were saying he was the man to bring success to Tyneside, but I wasn't so sure. Especially taking into consideration the whole bungs thing, and the fact he wont talk to the BBC pretty much shows he is guilty IMO. Annoyed because they found out the truth and therefore his son lost his job.


YES!!! While he's a decent player and puts in 100% every week... What does he actually do for the club? Fouls and gets booked. Yes he's out of position, but on the occasions where he has been up front, while looking better, he's still not done anything!

To be honest, seeing your manager smiling away after a dismal performance against a lower league club isn't exactly something that comforts you! Negative, boring and rubbish football is what we're seeing at SJP and have done since his arrival!

complete and uterly disgraceful!, He is a great manager and deserved alot more respect from newcastle fans, He even said himself it will take him up to 3 years to create the perfect club, But he was given eight months!.

I have also noticed that Alex Ferguson claims to be signing nobody during the january transfers, Which i think we need to. It is rumoured that Wes Brown is leaving so that is a part that we need to strengthen, With Neville still out that leaves John O'shea... Or Daniekl Simpson, Although he isn't experienced in the big league much the few matches he has featured in he impressed me.

I can also confirm that Manchester city are intrested in signing Mancini, Also Spurs are closing in on a deal with Stuart Downing.
