When I play friendly warm up matches, guests always join my room 20% of the time they are guests new to the game. 75% Of the time they are normal members who practice as guests. 5% of the time they are good player guests who don't have accounts.
It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it does get annoying after a while. So when a member clicks on play as guest, it could say "you already have a member signed up on this IP". But if its an actual guest they just go on as guest as normal.
Your thoughts?

people might want to get in more pratice and doesn't want to affect there stats maybe, i dont think there shouldn't be guests because thats how people get intrested in the game cas if i didn't come on as a guest when a fist started a would'nt be playing this game now, i think it attracts more people to the game and thats all a have to say mate

Also, if members want to go on as guests, why can't they put up with it like the rest of us?

The way in which guests can play is well thought out, and works perfectly fine IMO. I don't see the trouble in normal members playing as guests, seeing as they can only play friendlies anyway, which won't affect anyone's rank.
Also, if a members family or friends wish to test out the game as a guest, using your method sean_paul, they would not be able to.

ok but say they have an account and dont want to use it during work hours, which i know alot of people that play on this whilst suppose to be working they could use the guest account for say maybe there boss is walking past and they have to close the window and not wanting the lose on there account
also my dad plays this on a guest account just for fun so he wouldn't be aloud on doing it your way, and im sure many households have more than 1 person playing and they might not want accounts and just play as guests
sorry mate but like has been said before you cannot restrict the people on the game if you are having problems with guests i suggest you play me more often lol
or other members lol

im going to agree to that. i find that if i am playing particularly bad, i much prefer to log in as a guest to play a few frames just to get me going again. i also tend to play a lot at work and need to close the window if the big man walks past i would hate to have losses go down everytime i had to do this....my loss to win ratio would be greatly out of my favour! i like the guest addition to the game because of it

people like to also play guests because they dont know if they are a member or how they play so they cant prepare for who they go against. that is a challenge its self

We all have an image of when we play guests and we are good at the game we do expect to win. So when a guest comes on and is really good our first thoughts are 'Hes got an account or summat like that'. It is annoying, im only saying what players think. But in itself it is a challenge cos u dont know who ur gonna play

I think I've missed something with this whole guest thing!?
Can someone explain to me why it's a problem if you play a guest who's really good?! It's not as if you're losing any points?!
Unless there's something I've missed (which is likely to be honest, cos not only am I female but I'm blonde!) I really don't understand the problem of whether a guest is amazing or rubbish?! It's just a friendly!?
P.s. If I have missed the point will someone please explain what all the fuss is about!!

I presume alot of players play guests thinking there gonna be rubbish. This makes it easier for them to get bigger breaks i s'pose.
If i play a guest that is really good i ask if they have an account, n if they dont i ask them y not cos ur good?!

I have a solution!!! If u have an acccount and u want to play as a guest in brackets after ur name is would say a/c or summat like this:
Baxter 41 Guest 23 (a/c)
Solves everything
Baxter 41 Guest 23 (a/c)
Solves everything

I still don't understand why that is necessary?! What is the problem that needs solving!? If people want to play with anonymity that's up to them!
So you might end up playing someone with 50+ centuries and end up losing a friendly, big deal! Just play another one!
Sorry for going on but I really REALLY don't understand what the problem you're all talking about is?!
