Ok I remember a thread about htis a while back and how if you needed to leave there was no way of stopping an abandoned game go on your profile.

Heres my solution how about we have a call frame button. For example Sean_paul 41-19 Virtuoso107 but I need to go, I press the call frame button and then I leave, then when the opponent in this case Sean_paul misses and its my go if I were still there, it would say Virtuoso107 has called the frame thus Sean_paul winning the game without an abandoned game to end up on Virtuoso107's profile.

(I do realise i have quite a few abandoned before you say)



any thoughts ?

Whats to stop people that genuinely abandon lots of games, pushing this button every time?

It sort of defeats the object of having the abandoned games feature on your profile...

I think that your opponent should have the right to decline your claim to concede, and if you have claimed to concede and your opponent declines then the option is taken away to stopp the button being pressed to put players of, allthough having said that if you have to go just leave nobody really looks at your abandoned games anyway.

I don't know if this is the way you're thinking about it Mike. But I just had the idea that cheaters could get a friend to keep on calling the frame in ranked games? However the idea of cheating could be that you are only allowed to use say, 3 call frame's a day?

does it really matter about abandoned games now really?
we have had the 'carry on break' implented. I thought that was all really mattered about people abandoning? now that has been sorted. who cares about that stat on your profile?

I must admit I think having the "Call Frame" button there the whole time is a great idea. Although for the lazy mathematicians amongst us there would need to be some way of informing you that snookers were required!

Although I do also agree with the point made about what does it matter if people abandon?! It's only a stat at the end of the day! It doesn't bother me if the person I'm playing abandons all the time! More chance of me getting some points!

Good point, there are many people who abandon games just like that, to make it all fair, I think you should have a limit to how many times you are able to click this button in one day if it is introduced...Good suggestion aswell virtuoso107 no doubt about that
