how about a mode in tourny's that to decide who breaks, they hit th whiteball up and down and see who gets closest to the cushion. the closest decides who breaks and the match starts from there.

This has been mentioned many times, and as it is in the "coming soon's" for US pool there is no reason not to use it in snooker too when it's ready.

i like the lag idea (not the one in which people use as an excuse for why they miss ) but the one in which you have to get nearest to the balk line but hitting it up the table 1st, thats the hardest bit to code i guess.
