on a recent thread there has been a post about bringing miniture snooker onto this site and there has been a few other suggestion over time on here. I would just like to clear it up and make it simple and tell you the ideas that have been presented.

Miniture snooker
This is the most recent idea. This would be something simple to play and everyone would knonw how it went. However the problem with this is that it is an easier mode of arcade snooker. And most people will agree that arcade would be made a lot more easier if there was less reds on the table and therefore would get boring more easily

Billiards
This idea would bring more variety into funkysnooker without being something stupid. The problem with this though is that not many people know how to play and could be quite complicated and hard to make but people could learn.

Snooker plus
This idea is just about the same as original but with a twist with a 8 point and 10 point colour ball on the table. This could make original more fun and could create higher breaks on the site (195 maximum). The problem with this though is that it may not bring enough variety into the game and still be just as hard as original which people dont like.

Arcade snooker with 15 reds
This idea is similar to arcade just with 15 reds. This would give a twist to arcade snooker and have more chance of that magical 147 occouring happening. Also that it would harder than normal arcade but easier than orig so bridging that gap between them. The problem however is that like with snooker plus, it may not bring much variety to the game and could get boring.

Mate 15 Red arcade Snooker will not get boring, i think is's a great idear and i really want it to happen and i think load's of people will like it however i do have my dought's how we going fit 15 normall size arcade ball's on a normally sized arcade snooker table overall i really!! want it to be concidered and i hope to see it in the future

don't forget 'killer'...

Having three lives, and loosing one everytime you miss... you can pot any ball in any order... then again, this might be one for pool.


Out of all the suggestions, I would probably most like to see billiards, I think it would improve a lot of peoples control of the cue ball, and be a very enjoyable game to play. - 100% skill based!

There is up side-s and down-sides to all of the ideas but i did this so it made it clear to eveyone the ideas.

I think billiards sounds abit pool like but if we say we had 15 red Arcade it would be brillient it will make the first 147 easier and it could develop more interest to the game and i kinder like killer but then agian i think it's more pool like but i would'nt mind having killer on this game i for one will love 15 Red Arcade Snooker!!!!

Why make the 147 easier?

More of an achievement if it stays at its impossible difficulty!

yes i agree the 147 hasn't been done yet and it should be as hard as possible to get it

it still would be an achievement if you got a 147 on orig (which ive had 1 really good chance to get on grrr 139 )

my favourite personally is billiards out of them all.

A 147 is the most prized achievement i think on this. We cant make it any easier, which i think a 15 red arcade would do

Okay i have a game that you can add to the list. We used to play this on a saturday afternoon just to get table time, it's called golf.

You can have upto 4 players( or 5 if you use an orange and a pink ball).

Player 1 has red and white ball,
Player 2 yellow and green,
player 3 brown and blue,
player 4 pink and black.

Each player has to pot their ball into each of the six pockets in correct order starting at pocket 1 (black right pocket,) then 2 (black left pocket) 3 (blue left) 4(yellow pocket) 5 (green pocket) and finally pocket 6(blue right).

The game is started by placing player 1's object ball(the red) on blue spot and trying to pot it in pocket 1 with the white. If it is potted, the ball is placed back on the blue spot and the player gets to go again. This procedure is continued until the object ball is potted in pocket 5, where upon it is placed on black spot for player to shoot at the winning pocket.

If at any time player 1 misses play goes onto player two and the green is placed onto the blue spot and away player two goes....and so on until player 4. It is a very interesting and enjoyable game yet still frustrating because if you foul(not hit your object ball) or go in off, you go back one pocket each time...


sounds complicated now ive said all that but it is a very good game and is very tactical....

but it sounds pretty cool... it comes down to these multi-player version games, such as doubles... which would be another good game to add!

i like doubles and 15 red arcade, but just 1 of any new game could only be good for the game, however pools golf game isnt getting masses of players at the mo, so any new feature will need to be well thought out

Mate it's not going to make a 147 alot easier it's just making it slighty easier, However the only thing that will be alot easier is getting a century thats why i love the idear, and on orig everybody thinks that know one is going to get a 147 in a long time but if it was on arcade there will proberbly be a 147 in the next month or so. So i really hope this idear is going to be in the future!! because i love it and am not going to stop going on about it till it actually happens lol.
