Sorry, dont like arcade snooker too much like pool changed and dont play pool anymore lol. Hope the usual snooker doesnt go away

Agree with StHelens, it's like those baby tables you played snooker on when you were 5 or something, not for me, but fair play it seems popular with the breakhungry hordes

I like it, it brings an arcade feel to snooker, which is what was needed to make the game have mass appeal.
The classic (and more difficult/skillful) game is still there for those who want to play it, i see no problem!

it seems fun as a side game, i think the main focus of the site shud stay wiv the more serious(and also fun if ur gud at it) game.

well i have only had a 37 but arcade rocks! ive seen good_game, derpatovski and _jedi_ get centuries. they were 103 and 2 102's out of a possible 107, that is amazing

Hi Dare,
There's actually 2 separate games on funkysnooker now, and you can choose which game. Enter the game, choose options, and select your practice game. "Snooker" is the original simulation. "Arcade Snooker" is the arcade style game. You can flick between games at will, and your choice is remembered next time you enter the game.
According to what your practice game all your settings will default to the same game. So once you select "Snooker" you need not even realise that "Arcade Snooker" exists!
There should be no negative side to this as we've even reduced the game download size as part of the series of improvements
