Why wont they go??, there not wanted, the're putting the club in 250 million pound debt, they promised us a classy new stadium and now we're downgrading, they promised us money and we cant even buy mascherano...

They have recently admitted that the money generated from liverpool is going to help the Texas Rangers

"People are worried that I might take money away from the Texas Rangers baseball franchise to go to Liverpool," Hicks said.

"But it is just the reverse. Liverpool is going to throw off lots of extra money which, if I choose to, I can use for the Rangers or the Dallas Stars ice hockey team."

Much worse, they went behind Rafas back and looked at, not lippi or mourinio but klinsman!!! And to top it all they went public with it!!!

Sad times at anfield and as Gerrard quite rightly points out, its affecting the team, they have no passion or care for Liverpool they just want to generate money for there other business... Take the Dubai Internationals money!!!

I don't think the americans are bad investors in sports teams, they are just the wrong people for such a passionate club.

but people keep talking about giving managers more of a chance before sacking, shouldn't the fans give their chairman more of a chance?

D.I.C will be just the same- thats the problem with selling to overseas investors- the majority will see it as a profit making business not a team that fans follow and want to see buying kaka etc.

Abramovich is the obvvious exception.

Why not come n support Forest

I don't think that the nationality affects how good they are, as the Glazers have been good to us at old trafford, where as Mike Ashley has been awful at newcastle, and he is a big fan.

liverpool have been a massive disapointment this year but it can't be all the americans fault, you bought Torres and Babel, so you've got the players, why do all Liverpool fans think none of it is rafas fault?

They may have said they would give you 100 mil but if you're in so m uch debt then the club can't afford it.

You should be much better in the league, Im just saying it might not ALL be their fault!

Nope not all their fault but mainly!!

Could be one of them cases Tom was on about, only fans in and around the club can see whats going on!

I mean of we forget league positions, they still went behind rafas back and then went public, we will be in debt almost certainly, and there priority is obviously there ice hockey club, they are arguing with each other, its just not good and IS impacting on the team.

Its not even mainly their fault, you've spent 50 mil on players this year, only man united have spent more, you spent more this year than last, fans are just looking for someone to blame and it can't be Rafa cos he is obviously a god (sarcasm), players are never blamed so lets just blame the new chairmen even though they spent 50 mil on new players

Grrrr man i dont know how to point this out...

We are in debt.. They dont have the money

"People are worried that I might take money away from the Texas Rangers baseball franchise to go to Liverpool," Hicks said.

they went behind rafs back, as i said forget about our league position. You need to remember the tradition that goes with Liverpool, looking for managers isn't good going to the media with it IS NOT THE LIVERPOOL WAY

Ok forget our position as that lies with Rafa the players and the board, how is Raf and the players meant to win games when Raf is forever looking over his shoulder, every bad result is another headline about him losing his Job.

What are you on about? What evidence did you base this on? Southern press? The Newcastle fans love Mike Ashley because of the good things he's done for the club. What bad has he done?

Exactly what it is. Having said that, I know what you're on about and agree with you, despite not being a Liverpool fan. People who know nothing about the club begin judging it and think that they're right over the people who know most about the club. The fans.

50 mil? It was actually nearly 53 all told but you have to remember 25 mil came in from sales.

25 mil net is nothing - certainly no where near the 100 mil that they said would be available for players.

By the way liverpool fc was not 'in debt' when these guys bought it. These guys supposedly bought the club, paid off the chairman, then were going to put in their own money for the stadium and the players - now we hear that they are refinancing.

Not good, not good at all.

Hicks and Gilletts reign has been a total disaster from start (and hope soon) to finish. These guys are in for the money which is wrong. Its impossible to compare them to Ashley with Newcastle (as he is a Newcastle fan born and bred).

While I do think Hicks and Gillett are a major problem with their constant undermining of Rafa, I do think Rafa has to change his tactics very quick.

Firstly the rotation policy needs to be scrapped pronto. We have to stop buying second rate players and get rid of the dead wood quickly. Voronin, Kuyt, Kewell, Sissoko etc need to be shifted quickly. He needs to work on his motivation skills. Even SG said recently that Rafa never pats him on the back and tells him how good he is. I cant imagine Wenger ever being like that.

Alot got to do with management is convincing the players they are good enough. It hurts me to say that I dont think our football has improved under Rafa tenure. Is he bringing us closer to the title.......i dont think so.

Lets be fair there is no-one other than Rafa who thinks that the rotation policy works. When your'e playing well, you want to play all the time - not be sat on the bench every other week!!!

With regards to transfer you have to remember that we had a chance of having anelka for 11 mill and said no, yet were happy to pay 10 mil for kuyt! Not the best business we've ever done!!!!!!!

I would go so far as to say that from current 1st team squad i am happy with Reina, Carragher, Agger, Riise, Alonso, Mascherano, Gerrard and Torres. So several new players required, rest of squad is also rans.....

I'd add to that Kewell allthough some are losing patience with him and also Ryan Babbel and Yossi, but without a doubt some need to go, sissoko is on his way out aso is Riise, Rafa wont change his policies, we need to either stick or swap, but if he does go i want it to be down to solely his management, nit his public outburst, and i want it to be done out of the public eye and not behind his back.

Anyways, just found this on bbc sport off Sir Alex for those still doubting the bad impact they are having on our team and finances

Tom Hicks and George Gillett upset the club's supporters after admitting they had sounded out Jurgen Klinsmann as a possible replacement for the Spaniard.

"What happened was a bad piece of business on Liverpool's part, no doubt about that," Ferguson said.

"That can be very upsetting. You should let a manager get on with his job."

"At big clubs, it's absolutely paramount that the board show their class," said Ferguson.

"Arsene Wenger has had great support at Arsenal and I've had great support, too, ever since I came here. So there's a certain type of unity there."

Around 2,000 supporters took part, and 76% said they would 'seriously consider reducing their financial commitment to the club' if the current owners stayed in charge.

When asked to choose between the owners and the manager as to who had the best interest of the club at heart, 99% backed Benitez.

"The results of this survey are indicative of the strength of feeling among Liverpool fans that the club is very much in the wrong hands at present," said LSN spokesman Neil Atkinson.

"Tom Hicks and George Gillet are not trusted."

Well IMO David Moores is the real villain. He could have sold Liverpool FC to DIC but the Americans offered him more money. Talking about a true fan, (an example of a true fan who is Sir Jack Hayward who sold Wolves for a tenner because Steve Morgan promised to invest 30m into the club)

Pretty much all fans were happy when it looked like DIC has bought Liverpool only for Moores to change his mind at the last minute.

yup but who'd have thought this?

Also Hicks was linked to Villa but Ellis just felt that Lerner was the best man for the job, If only Ellis was as thick as Moores
