I never felt it peronally, I slept through it lol but my missus and my little one woke up, I see the damage ect. it caused on the news it was 5.3 or something on the rictor scale!, The worst earthquake in Britian for around 25years.
I didn't know that we have around 200 earthquakes in britian a year though?, Was pretty shocked to hear that, But only around 20 of them are actually felt, But there obviously minor quakes compared to this one.
It makes you think though doesn't it?, In a sense us British people are lucky, In Asia ect. they have earthquakes that are up to 9+ on the rictor scale. We was one of the fortunate places though, Places like Gainsborough got the worts part of the quake, Cleethorpes and Grimsby didn't really suffer from much damage (not from what i have seen/heard anyway).
