I know this has already brought up, but I'm proposing a slightly different approach of it.

Basically, we could have a table containing people's winning streaks. This table would NOT be emptied every night.

However, people pointed out that it would lead people to play lower ranked players so they have easily a big winning streak. Here comes the new idea!

We shouldn't count the winning streak in matches, but in ranking points won. So the values contained in this table would be "the amount of points won since the last points loss". It would be a good indicator of who is in a great form, and would be evenly fair for lower and higher ranked players.

OK there's the edge modification, but the highly ranked players already have loads of lists to be on the top of, haven't they?

Also note this would mean friendlies are kept out of this statistic.

Nice idea The only downside i can see is people resetting and getting on the list that way by going from Newbie to Virtuoso.

uve made a great idea beter m8 and i think this is great idea as the best players would hardly ever be on it

1 slight glich tho..............some peeps might be smart and drop they're rank on perpose and then get loads in a row to get the top spot

I think it wouldn't be a problem, as these stats would be dynamic. Imagine a player gets 100 points in a row, and then what? He'd be on the top until he loses a game. So either he doesn't play anymore just to stay on the top, either he keeps playing, and eventually he'll lose a game.

I think this stat would not cause such problems like someone resetting just to be on the top of it, because it's dynamic. It's just not worth resetting to be on the top for 2 days.

If we want to be sure, it could also work so that a player would drop from the table if (s)he doesn't play for a certain amount of time (2 weeks maybe). It still makes sense as it's supposed to show the players who are currently in a great form.

OH ok now i get it so its not a best winning streak but its a current winning streak so when you lose you go back to zero or even does it say EG.-3.07 if you lose a game or 2 in a row

couldnt u have 2 tables
1 table for most points gained 2day
2nd table for most points gained in 1 day ever

Sounds simple enough to me gets my vote.

That's different from the basic idea, but also interesting. Personally I don't really like this idea because you need to play a lot in one day to get on the top. Therefore it doesn't show exactly people's skill, but also how much they can play in a day.

yh but wouldnt any type of leaderboard ur suggesting amount to hu plays the most in 1 day
the more u play in 1 day the points you gain

it wouldnt coz if you lost you lose your streak so if you play 100 in a day and lose after everywin ya gona have +8 as biggest streak or summit like tht

And in my suggestion, your streak continues until your next loss, if you don't lose in 5 days, then 5 days ranking points would be summed up.
(that's what I meant in my first post when I wrote: "This table would NOT be emptied every night.")
