Don't know how many of you will know about this, and I'm sure none of you will have heard of him, but we've had RIP threads for football players in the past, and even though he's not known at all over here, I still believes he deserves a thread.

24 year old football player, playing for Zadar in the Croatian First Division, and only four minutes into one of his games at the weekend, while tackling an opponent, his momentum took him off the pitch, he hit his head straight off the concrete wall that surrounded the pitch (!?!?), today. He never re-gained consciousness and today was pronounced dead

it is awful.
its on youtube and you can see how close the wall is to the pitch. its horrendous really, not even enough for a throw in run up let alone carrying momentum through a challenge safely.........
