owens has had a good season, he didn't have a lean spell as such, he was just injured. Goalscoring is an art and owen is one of the few that have that natural goal scoring ability. Wayne rooney doesn't have this let me tell you.

Shole Ameobi has been unable to get into the newcastle side for a prolonged period and just doesnt cut it in the Prem- he might score five goals in a stoke side that will struggle next season....
