i think it would be a good idea to have some kind of table showing how long a player has gone unbeaten.
there could also be a section on their profile most games gone unbeaten
then an overall leaderboard. but as soon as a player is beaten it goes back to zero, this would prevent the same player being on the board all the time.

any thoughts?

what would stop some1 playin there m8 to let them win?

I kind'a like this idea, could be more helpful for moderator's and admin's catching cheaters aswell

no but then thats breach of game rules. and admin would deal with it.
u get that all over the game anyway so wouldnt make no difference.
but as soon as they lose there off the leaderbored.

Yeah i know that but most common cheaters win like 80 games without losing, which would mean they would be near the top all the time, hence why this could be benificial for admin and mods, also this could prove who's consistent and inconsistent

I really think that counting how long someone has been unbeaten in terms of ranking points won instead of matches won would be a more meaningful and fair solution.

but not everyone plays ranked.

i myself do not play ranked very much.

i think matches won would be better than ranking points won

then surely that would be an incentive to play ranked games more, its abit of a pain and pointless some1 gettin to say 950 then not playing ranked anymore jus so they stay up there, its only a game let the others have a chance of gettin to top 10 lol, not pointing fingers either just in general

I like this idea, although I think that it would be better applied with having a "Games since last defeat" stat on profile.

if anyone has every played snooker on the site game desire they will knw that they use a similar system on there however there isnt a ranked leaderboard it says form i think and shows that persons form ie. if they have won last 7, +7 and if they have lost their last 3, -3.

Doesn't show true form though does it.

As an example, you could win 10 on the trot and then just lose one and you'd be on -1.

very true, how about some kind of form table like ur last 6 results, although if ppl were really bothered they wud just check ur results on ur profile.

i like the idea and to prevent cheaters maybe you only allow to play a certain amount of games against a user per day or something

I disagree, what about people playing crazy matches like best of 50? They could really end up playing against each other all day...

u could have like your last 6 games vs different people and shows your best break in each of those games

i think if you could have a trail run with this board would be good

maybe swap it for the max break leaderboard becasue that is just pointless now.
