Avram Grant got Chelsea to the final of the league cup, final of the Champions League, and was only 2 points away from the winners of the Premier League, but got sacked. Unbelievable.

Lets face it chelsea have been so unlucky this season having almost won the treble, to win nothing is so unlucky!

If i was a chelsea FAN i would be gutted by the news, to finish 2nd in the league and be pipped by the post (literally) in the final of the champions league to man utd is nothng to be ashamed of. Abramovich knows nothing about football, just like sinawatra and hicks and gillette. Its a disgrace!

To many chelsea "fans" only want 1 manager - mourinio, look at man utd, how long have they stuck with fergie? he wasnt an instant success but look at him now!!!

but lets be really honest...i bet many of you have played championship manager and football manager etc etc well....how hard can it be to manage chelsea?
you have lots of money every year
a good squad of players
and proven (i think) this year we are top 2/3 teams in the world

only bad thing is abramovich has high expectations which is understandable but thats why we need a good firm manager (that starts joe cole) and doesnt buy players like malouda, sidwell, beletti, boulrouz?, SWP, mikel...SHEVCHENKO...PIZZARRO

but avram did deserve his sacking he achieved nothing...and has no inspiration on the team and he looked like a turtle

Achieved nothing? He got you to the Champions League final, something that Mourinho couldn't do, and you only lost due to one player, not Avram Grant.

You got to the final of the League Cup, which maybe you should have won.

And you took the Premier League down to the final day, pushing Man Utd who have been class all season (Except for maybe the first few games) all the way.

Now if that's achieving nothing, then, well I don't know really, just that isn't nothing.

avram, did his best with the team, everybody expects Chelsea to automatically win everything because they have spent so much on the team but that’s not how it works.

There was a time when man utd were flying high in the league and only Arsenal next to them avram kept his composure and he ended up taking his team to the final day which he did great to get you there.

Then because Terry missed his penalty he gets the sack its unbelievable, Why not sack terry for not doing his job everybody needs to realise its not always about the manager the players have a huge part in it as well.

I think abromovic is just looking for a easy way out just somebody that he can put some blame on because he knows he has not won anything and he won't bother criticising his team so he will just keep putting it on the managers every time.

What Abramovich wants is sexy football basically and if thats so the next manager needs to start all over again, Mourinho generally bought powerful players not skillful players, Avram didn't get chance to bring in his own set of players with the exception of le sulk so we will never know what type of manager he could have been. People judge him on the way he looks and his manor not the results that hes achieved.

And Scolari has been announced as their new manager... think he will be gud for chelsea tbh

hmm not sure, hes not getting any younger so hardly a long term appointment.. not that there is such things in football anymore especially with chelsea.
