Gretna who got relegated to the division 1 of the scottish leagues has today been demoted to the 3rd division due to administration problems, which means Airdre moves to the first division and strainrar to the 2nd

Yep, also if they don't have a full team on proper contracts by next week they won't be playing next year and there will be a team from different applicants will be in there place

The problem with Gretna is they got to big to quick.. Very harsh on them though

i dont agree with that, how can you go up the leagues to fast... thats what there playing to do lol.

It wasn't they wasn't any good for the scottish premier league, the administrator of the club didn't have any funds of anything and the "new" buys (pulled out now) was willing to tak them from division one back to the premier league, but as they have been demoted down he no longer wants them, it's not they moved up fast at all

It is not harsh.
They don't have the funds to field a squad of players to even competitive in the First Division. I think if you look objectively you'll find that it is probably best for Gretna to go back to start and try again.
