since the updates, has it got easier to pot reds off the break? i seem to be potting more often, and more reds when i do pot, i potted 3 just now.

Out of interest, whats the most number of reds any of you have ever potted?

i usually pot 1 or 2 or sometimes even 3 which is annoying if i pot 2 or more becuase then theres no cent on

yes it is annoying if 2 or 3 go in, as i usually use the few others that used to come lose if i couldnt get into the bucnh of the first colour. Though im stil not close to that century... keep throwing it away in the middle

ok now potting reds has suddenly got much harder? Is it changed on purpose to make us work it out again or is it just some minor changes?

The reds change possition slightly on every rack, see for yourself!

I don't think so. It's very good that the red balls aren't always placed the same way, because it prevents a skilled player to find the good point to hit, and pot a red (or snooker his opponent, for original) in 100% of his break shots.

Sorry Chris, I also disagree....its adds a bit of realism to the game. When playing proper snooker the reds wont be in the identical position to other frames (bound to be a couple of mm off). Also different tables are faster or slower, atmospherics, dampness etc.

Basically what Im saying is that a slight variation on the rack shouldnt be viewed as a bad thing but as a realistic aspect. But of course thats only in my opinion...

Tottaly agree with you there. Annoys me on orig when i don't snooker behind green like but oh well it's part of the game

i know the reds vary position eveyr break-off and that is good, my point is that they tend to go in phases maybe related to when alterations are made to the game, where it gets easier or harder, particularly at the moment its very hard to get the cue ball to stay down the black end

I always seem to pot the black off the break on arcade no matter what i do.
