Here's an idea why doesn't the rank reduction take effect even if you are on line at midnight?
If it is going to cause problems for whatever reason just look at the top of the rankings and take them off manually, by my reconing cue_power should be on about 550 rank lol.

That's the only glitch with the rankings, nothing can be done about them.

So if the ranking reduction was brought in to stop people sitting on the top and not playin anymore, why then when it becomes obvious that someone is abusing the glitch can points not be deducted manually? cause i know you have that facility.
There are ways around this glitch and it is obviously annoying quite alot of people.

You tell me who will do it manually? Because you get a few people online at midnight and you would have to check everyone of them to see if they needed a deduction.

Also nick is the only one who can do stuff like that so nothing can be done.

Don't do everybody just the ones who persistently abuse it. You dont even need to look we all know who they are.
By the tone of your reply it suggests that you are getting a bit touchy about people mentioning it, after all this is the correct arena for voicing suggestions to make this game better isn't it?

I have no problem with people mentioning it, but i just do not see how it can be done manually. Like i said, nick can only do it. If everyone was doing it, then fair enough but it's one person. That's it.

I cant get mi head round the fact that it is 1 person like you said so it aint that hard to deduct the points just put a case together for Nick or just ask him to take a look at the threads. He's a decent bloke i'm sure he will do the right thing.

Lol! To be honest contrary to what you all may think i'm actually all for the deduction! and I do think that 1 point of rank should be taken off at midnight wether you are online during midnight or not!

Kind of the best solution to problem if you ask me. But as mentioned it is a glitch and only nick can sort these things out he's a very busy man and im sure he is aware of the problem.

i suggest we stick to the drop of ranks!
games should have standards. If ranks drop , someone would not stay at the top 4ever .

In an ideal world rank would be deducted even if somebody was playing at midnight. But at the end of the day if people want to come on at midnight every day so they don't lose a point, should we be annoyed by them or feel sorry for them?

If people log on at midnight for other reasons then thats fine... its the ones that log on to save a point that seems pretty sad to me.
