Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari will become the new Chelsea manager on 1st July.



Scolari, who is currently masterminding Portugal's Euro 2008 challenge, has accepted an offer to replace Avram Grant at Stamford Bridge.


Chelsea have confirmed that the Brazilian World-Cup winning coach will take charge after the European Championship.


"Chelsea Football Club is delighted to confirm that Luiz Felipe Scolari will be the club's new manager from July 1, 2008," read a club statement.

I think he is a great manager but to manage a English team and cant speak a word of English is going to be hard. Good luck!

lol however they probably have more English players that alot of the top 6 teams. A Cole, Terry, Lampard, J Cole, SW Phillips. Not many teams could name 4 English players on their team (nevermind England internationals)

Thing is s_bull, You bring all these great players in, they need time to settle, and thats what the chelsea owner doesn't have

they will have great players there, they will settle fine.
