In an arcade tournament today i got through to the quarter finals then got knocked out by a guy who got 70 or so points off the break
All credit to him/her,but i thought it might have been fairer if in that situation another game could be played to give both sides a chance,as there is in later rounds
It might slow the round time down but i don't think it happens often enough to have a huge impact
anyway,thoughts?

that happens sometimes
its all down to the skill of the opponent
if so we might aswell play at least 2 frmaes in every round
if thta happened it would end up being a bigger marathon
it should stay the way it is
sorry

and what if you get your request and its race to 2 in quarters
then what if the same happens to you in round 1,2,3 ect and you ask for the same again
its going to end up turning into a big marathon tourny

the odds of someone winning off the break in all of your rounds are somewhere between slim and nil,but point taken

Answered your own question. It doesn't happen all that often, therefore there isn't a great need for something to be changed for it
