John Higgins! The Wizard of Wishaw! Great charisma! Yeah Ronnie as a player is the best naturally gifted player to ever hold a cue but as a person he is fowl, however this can add to his appeal.

My all time favorite was John Spencer (who unfortunately died 2 years ago this month). I was fortunate to see him play in exhibition matches in the '70s and my first cue was a John Spencer wood-wood join two piece (John was the first player to use a two piece cue).

Of the current players I admire the genius of Ronnie. But my favorite player is Mark Williams. He doesn't appear to get as many centuries as others (as he tends to lose interest once a frame is won and plays exhibition shots) but is 9th on the all time centuries list.
