Why not just download IE7?

I don't think there's any way that a ban on editing the screen size could be implemented.

While I don't agree with the idea anyway, the ability to zoom is part of IE7 and it's functions and therefore appears on every internet window. It's nothing to do with how FunkySnooker is made.

people get to choose how they want to play..plus zoom isnt that much of an advantage.

zoom is an advantage depending on your screen... my screen is pretty small so on original without zoom its almost impossible to pot a single ball..

but i dont like the idea.. because it really isn't that hard to download internet explorer 7 and reap the benefits

The screen isn't big on my laptop either. Without zoom the balls are not round at all on mine, and firefox lags on mine quite a bit (oddly enough).

If your so bothered why don't you use zoom?

if players wanna use the zoom button that's there choice theres no way we can stop them because its a built-in feature with IE7

Unfortunately some of us can't download IE7
but even so its not something that can be (or should be) regulated by FunkySnooker - thats like saying that people with 32" monitors should be banned.

Edit: oops I see Lindsell has already made that point lol

even though I don't agree with the idea, if the ban was to be implemented, it could be implemented by banning IE7 altogether and only allowing people to use Firefox or IE6 ect.

What? So people who use IE7 would have to download IE6 or Firefox just because they can zoom in on the internet browser they already have? That wouldn't be a good way to get round it at all in my opinion...
