I have been experiencing an msn problem for about 5 months now, but now i think its time to get it sorted!

Every time i sign in on msn it just crashes i can wait up to about 30 mins before it starts up again any idea's what this could be?

My thoughts at first are i have way too many contacts (about 1,500) could this be slowing it down?

Or it needs uninstalling then installing again?

Or .... i dunno ?

Well, 1500 contacts shouldnt affect the computer much, but must fry your brain trying to remember who they are!

If any app is giving you problems, its always a good idea to try a fresh install.

Be sure to backup your contacts list first though (file>save contact list)

Then uninstall and reboot before reinstalling again.

:P nice solving the problem, but the contacts list is actually stored on your account not on the messenger application itself

Is anyone able to log in msn at the moment? as it is saying "We are unable to sign you in at this time pleas try again later"

Run the troubleshooter and it's saying my internet connection is fine

I'm on so it might just be yours.. keep trying to sign in. Might work eventually. If that doesn't work, re-install it.

Thing is i try getting on the msn website and wont let me, but any other website with nothing to do with msn and it does

try rebooting
